West Runton is the nearest village and has all the shops necessary for immediate needs. These include a grocery and post office, newsagent, greengrocer, butcher, hairdresser, garage and well equipped caravan and camping shop.

The Village Inn is the local and also serves food. The Dormy    House has a carvery and The Pepperpot restaurant is also excellent.  The Links Hotel has a 9 hole golf course attached to it.

West Runton beach is accessed via a road that runs from the centre of the village and has car parking available with easy walking to the beach from it. A beach cafe near this car park has snacks available in the main season.

Access to the Hillside Shire Horse Sanctuary is across The Green just before reaching the centre of the village.
