Felbrigg Hall is a 17th-century country house. Within is its original 18th-century furniture, a collection of Grand Tour paintings and a library.
There is Walled Garden, a working octagonal dovecot and the National Collection of Colchicums which flower in September.
There are many waymarked walks through 500 acres of woods which include magnificent specimens of beech and sweet chestnut trees. Can you find the Tulip tree?
A path from the car park leads to the Church and onto the lake which can be walked completely around and back to the Hall.
Alongside the Hall is an orangery and refreshments, a second-hand bookshop and a gift shop.
Throughout the year there is series of special events. Tel 01263 837444 for details.
